In the dark corners
Wasted moments and hours
Silenced hopes
Muzzled voices
and unplugged power
we sit slouched
Curled, trapped with choice
Lying back passive
Lovers of the screen
Stroked by endorphin
adrenaline sleep
If only we could lift
eyes beyond pixel boxes
digital square coffins
take a step outside
or even look out a window
and drink in
the imprint of His nature
still stamped on our world
see wonder
and wonder…
See under
the patterns
a better why.
