Matrix Moments

Media Moments: Question, reflect, connect

Shifting Shadows

Fate beckons from the shadows
Longest and shortest moments
Crowd hope from your soul,
Any glimmers,
pieces of rational
are pulled away
by scrabbling mind fingers
Plucking life threads
killing possibilities
And unrealised dreams
float wispy away,
Intensifying darkness
creeps the corridors
of your creations,
Unreal space replaces
Reality,
Your world shrinks past
family, friends, co-workers
into increased isolation,
paused person pain,
spiralling self shutdown,
Even as these words
Resonate, vibrate deep in you
it all seems shadows of
Someone else
a different diversion of you.

Where is the voice
that can call you by
a deeper name
Calling you
up to another level
Calling
smiles on your soul
Calling a
welcome to the glory
of God’s presence?

Starting Thoughts: Why do we crave attention and often withdraw from connection? How do we shutdown from others and ourselves into a world often of our own creation powered by our choices? Who really sees us, knows us by name?
