Carving 
the storm 
Cutting into the eye 
of the tiger
with the light of eternity 
Waves tower yet tremble
before the praise 
of the people,
Hurricane winds bulk
and breeze nothing 
before the worship 
of the people.

We walk through 
the tempest,
Stride across the waves 
renewed in the unseen realms,
Carrying the creator's story 
Lifting the name of Jesus 
Convinced in the cross
Called to be who we are 
in the grace flows,
Believing in this reality 
thankfulness releases faith 
And praise raises 
worship in the glory,
The call to Christ released 
the call of the church released 
Christ Church released.

Starting Thoughts: The power of praise cutting through the icepack, through the storms, through the hurricanes of life, through the attempts and plans of evil. We have strength in the worship of God to turn all things for good.
